Billie’s Moonlight Mission

Billie the Bat didn’t mind being different. While other animals yawned and snuggled into their burrows, Billie was getting ready for his favorite time of day—moonrise.

He hopped on his little forest bike, tightened the straps on his tiny helmet (safety first!), and peeked into his basket. It was empty for now, but not for long. Billie had a mission.

He wasn’t after snacks or shiny things—tonight, Billie was looking for colors. His plan? To find one flower in every shade of the sunset and moonlight. Yellow like a firefly’s blink. Pink like the clouds at bedtime. And red like… well, he hadn’t figured that one out yet.

The forest was quiet but full of magic. Leaves rustled like whispers. Owls hooted soft greetings. Billie pedaled slowly, his wings tucked in tight as he spotted flower after flower tucked beneath ferns and poking out from mossy logs.
