Noelle wasn't supposed to become famous.

She arrived at Urban Wildlife Rehabilitation just before Christmas after spending days wandering the entrance of a busy country club parking lot. Although she appeared to have only a minor head tilt, it soon became clear that she had suffered a traumatic brain injury that would prevent her from ever returning to the wild.

What Noelle lacked in releasability, she made up for in personality. Curious, confident, and just a little dramatic, she quickly won over everyone she met. Her playful antics and unmistakable charm eventually earned her a permanent home as a licensed wildlife education ambassador at the ZOO in Forest Park, where she now helps inspire people to care about the wild animals living all around them.

Noelle's story is a reminder that while not every patient can return to the wild, every life still has the power to make a difference.
